Echoes in Rain by Enya

Like with most artists, I always LOVE a select few from their discography and feel “meh” or unattached to the rest of it. Enya is one of those artists for me, I love a select few of her songs. This is one of them. It’s fairly new but it’s so peaceful and plucky! I listened to this a lot during a college math class so it reminds me of that a lot!

Daydreams by Breanne Duren

This is a throwback song for me to around 2011. This was one of the first love songs I heard as a young teenager discovering youtube and modern music in general. This has such an airy, love-struck sound to it’s sound and vocal work. Gives me little chills listening to it again, and even makes me think of my own love. ❤

Bon Appétit by Katy Perry (nsfw)

I feel like the only person who flipping loved the new sound Katy Perry is cranking out. This sound here is my JAM. It checks off all the right boxes for me between the minor key and dark and rhythmic beat. While I can do without the rapping, it’s not bad either. But dang, I love Katy’s new sound. I also like the sensual side to this song, while she highlights the reality that women are often viewed as a five-course meal for the male appetite. I love it, once I start listening I can’t stop. It repeats WAY too easily. ❤

Chocolate by Serebro

This is another song I heard in the background of a video and I had to use my Shazam app to find the full version because of how I loved the sound. I love my dance/electronic music and this such a perfect example of the genre. I love the almost ethnic sound it has, between singer’s voice and the instruments used (feels almost like a throwback to songs like Lean On.)
