The Elven Treasure || Celtic Music by Peter Gundry

I’ve lost track of a number of times I’ve listened to this on loop. It’s so wistful, angsty, almost a little mysterious; I love how softly it begins…and then grows with the violin and percussion introduction. There’s a sense of sadness and longing that’s just gorgeous through these instruments. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a fantasy romance collapsing or exploring an enchanted forest. ❤

Hyouri from Bakemonogatari

This mysterious, anxious, powerful music box melody was written by Satoru Kōsaki. It tingles with a strong percussion rhythm by the end. This song triggers to me a sense of sweet and danger: it’s stirring. I remember writing many survival scenes to it throughout November while creating a zombie novel. It had the sound of pent-up emotion and danger that fueled the story forward, especially through an extended track.
